 UMM Breakfast will resume in August

2018 North Georgia Annual Conference

Joe and Pat Whitmore (Lay Delegates) will be attending the North Georgia Annual Conference this year in Athens from June 12-14.

The conference will be led by Bishop Sue Haupert-Johnson

Many important items will be brought forth for discussion,

please be in prayer for guidance and discernment for all Pastors and leaders attending!

 

HFUMC Pre School Registration

Registration is taking place for the 2018-19 school year with classes for 2,3, and 4 year olds.

Applications are available at the Pre School or in the church office.

Apply Quickly! There are only 1-2 places in each age group left.

Pre School follows the same schedule as Hart Co. Schools.

One Worship Service and Patriotic Musical July 1

The Hart County Clothes Closet Food Pantry

The Food Pantry still has need for the following items.

Vacation Bible School

Applications for VBS 2018 are available at the Church Office.

You can also register your child online by clicking the VBS 2018 link at the top navigation bar.

The schedule is as follows:

Friday, June 8th from 5:30pm-8pm

Saturday, June 9th from 10am-1pm

Sunday, June 10th from 9am-11am

Those who wish to help with decorating for VBS can join us on

Tuesday, June 5th from 10am to 12pm & 6pm

Wednesday, June 6th from 10am to 12pm & 6pm

 

Children’s goes to the Movies!

On June 20th, Children’s Ministry will be going to Anderson to see

the Incredibles 2 movie. The movie begins at 11am.

Cost is movie and lunch.

 

Water Day for Children’s Ministry

Join us on Tuesday, June 26th from 11am-1pm in the Church Circle

for water slide rides, water games, and lunch

Cost is $5 per person

 

United Young Adults

Open to all young adults who have graduated HS and/or consider themselves a young adult, married or single.

Beau & Brittaney Swafford are leading the Young Adults again this summer.

They will meet on Thursday evenings in June (7, 14, 21, 28) from 6pm-7:30pm.

Join us for Supper, Bible Study, worship, and fellowship.

Sojourner’s June Activity

The June Activity will be on Wednesday, June 6th at our Lake Lot beginning at 11:30am.

A catered picnic-style lunch will be served at a cost of $13.00 per person including meat, sides, dessert, and iced tea (gratuities included)

There will be great fellowship and activities!

Call Beau Swafford at the Church Office before Friday, June 1st.

There will be no bus service that day, so if you need a ride, please mention that you need transportation to Beau when placing your reservation.

HFUMC Booth June 23rd Pre-4th Extravaganza

Volunteers are needed to help at our booth located outside

Stephen Carter’s Law Office.

We need people to help set up (approx. 7:30am), people to greet visitors to our booth, hand out water & brochures (approx. 9am-1pm), and people to help clean up after the event (around 1:00pm).

This is a great way to meet new people, talk to others you have not seen in a while, and to have fun overall!

Sign-up by calling the church office or putting your name on a pad that will be passed at church.

 

Children’s Ministry

The Children’s Ministry will be going to Anderson on June 20th to see Incredibles 2 in Theatres.

Movie begins at 11am and cost include movie and lunch

 

On Tuesday, June 26th from 11am-1pm there will be a water slide, water games and lunch in the church circle!

Cost is $5 per person

 

Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry will beg going to see Incredibles 2 on Friday, June 15th.
